Passage of White Truths

The bird, as spiritual guide, is pulling a cart of white apples representing Western knowledge; it is going to an unknown destination. White (Caucasian) truth prevailed during colonial rule and continues to pervade agriculture and other sociopolitical management systems, privileging white males. The ultimate effect of global homogenization is unknown, but diminishing diversity and health in the earth’s ecosystem are clearly undesirable outcomes.  The Apple as a mythic symbol of both truth and evil is alluded to as well as the potent fact that there are many ‘white’ truths as well.
