Inner Feng Shui: 2-Water/Sacral Chakra

The top mandala is an 8-petaled Orange lotus, with a crescent moon floating within the central blue circle.  Orange, shorter than red on the rainbow frequency, aligns with the second, ‘sacral’ chakra, located within the pelvic bowl.  This vortex is associated with the dance of duality through relationships, sexuality and creativity (especially of human life).  Water is the sacral chakra’s element; it is aligned with the phases of the moon and emotions.

The dynamic lower part visualizes water as waves, symbolic of emotional tides we may experience daily; as we go deeper to explore and heal, all becomes calmer, like the ocean – it may occasionally be tumultuous at the surface, but calm at the depths.  The ‘waves’ are energetically attached to gemstones: red jasper (endurance & stability) and blue lace agate (unity, harmony). The circle at the very bottom holds an hour glass shape comprised of small fish and pearls (purity, balance and inner wisdom).  Water is meant to flow, and if contained, can become stagnant or a dam of potential never realized.  When we regulate the inner emotional environment through breath practices and meditation, all flows naturally.
