Fires of Transformation is the third of a 4 part piece called “The Liberation of the Couch Potato”. A humorous take on the ‘couch potato’ idiom.
The Couch Potato has now tripled in number and is really shedding her skin amidst a tumultuous fire. This is a necessary part of the process of stripping off old patterns in exchange for a renewed Self, a metaphor for the pain of giving up what is known (and thus comfortable) and embracing the fear of the unknown. Hopefully one can laugh at the juxtapositions here… a reminder to find the lightness and silver lining with every big challenge.
