In this June update, I’d like to share the last grouping of smaller encaustic, mixed media artworks I’ve made. The Series continues; I’ve I’ve only been showing them on Instagram (not on my website). These 7 are all about the importance of shifting into Heart-Based consciousness; it is as much of a reminder to me, as a call to action for humanity.
Twins’ Heart Size: 6” x 12” Price: $105
When 2 independent souls (as with Fraternal twins), unite with one heart, they can be fully themselves, and have a generous overlap of co-creation. Personal growth happens when unique personalities are encouraged to follow their own passions, while remaining devoted to what is built together.
Hearts Uprising Size: 12” x 6” Price: $105
The archetypal owl, centered in Heart Wisdom, lifts up a trinity of hearts from the birthing flames. Every heart is unique, bearing its own cross; yet each continues to glow, its’ colorful aura broadcasting a special vibration. Time in nature can uplift the heavy heart of anyone. Paying attention to nature’s wisdom through dialoguing with its’ signs, provides profound guidance. Find ways to Uplift your own precious heart.
Double Blossom Heart Size: 8” x 8”
Out of the watery depths of a single green healed heart, grow two lilies. Mirror images of each other, save for the blue and pink colors, they connect to the glowing heart via intertwining silver and gold threads. Like the Yin and Yang of all existence, each relationship, including the masculine and feminine within, is in a divine partnership. Don’t resist; engage the Dance.
Twin Blossom Heart Size: 8” x 8”
Mirror images of identical lotus blossoms arise from a deep blue watery well. Connecting to the same anchor of the green heart via interweaving metallic threads, they grow upwards and blossom out into the outer realm of Manifestation and Being. Although looking identical, their individual experiences will express differently.
Mother Heart Size: 8” x 8” Price: $95
The heart in the upper center position, glows green with a golden aura, colors of high frequency. Her cross reveals the connection to her own significant journey of healing. Three hearts of differing size, color and glow are tethered to the ‘mother heart’ via silver threads. Being in her radiant glow allows them to be nourished along their own paths. These characters exist within a watery realm; tinges of greens and yellow suggest growth as all move towards a sunny horizon above.
Steady Heart Size: 8” x 8” Price: $95
A beautiful, bright red heart is flanked by 6 stages of the moon; our emotional, subtle body can fluctuate with the rhythms of the moon’s monthly cycling. From full to waning, dark to waxing until fullness again, the moon affects the watery liquids within the human body. Our feelings can shift and reign havoc over our thoughts and behaviors, as well as be euphoric. When we are confident in our personal sovereignty, the heart steadies, and is no longer at the mercy, like the tides, of big fluctuations. Leaning into cultivating compassion for self & others, solidifies our steadfastness.
Ascending Heart Size: 8” x 8” Price: $95
A classic cherry-red heart emerges from a fiery realm. Created from the same background substance, this heart is defined by its’ radiant aura and marked by the cross of experience. Hovering above, yet energetically connected, wings uplift the heart, allowing it to ascend above its blustery creative origin. It seems to burst into presence through sheer force of will, on an expansive journey of becoming what it was always intended to Be.
What does it mean to be Heart-Centered? Not an easy path to negotiate in this mental, rationally biased world. I struggle with it myself daily. For me, I take moments to touch base with my heart in all matters, especially when faced with a choice. These of course, show up daily, minute by minute: Do I follow the fear like the other person is entangled in? or do I offer loving compassion? it is not easy to stay attuned to the higher love frequency; Inflammatory perspectives are everywhere.. Asking ‘What will nourish a heart connection?” “What does the heart know in this situation?” Emotions require Tending; the Shadow requires Healing. Only then, can the mind consistently follow the heart’s knowing. Together, a new path out of this quagmire of fight, flight and fear will be forged.
