Yup! That is the Short Answer, as I understand it.
Being ultra-conditioned into the linear-time belief system, I didn’t seriously question why the Art History classes on Egypt I taught at university, didn’t make sense (until much later). The rhetoric of belief stemming from ‘humans advance linearly’, assumed Egyptian were more primitive than we in the 21st century, which, prevents us all from ‘Seeing’ the Truth. The wisdom and technologies of Egypt were beyond our current capabilities; that is now very clear to me.
For example, the Obelisk in Karnak is 97 feet tall,
has precision edges, laser quality complex image and sunken relief hieroglyphic engravings, from bottom to top. Dated between 1450-1470 BCE, how did they create such a refined symmetrical monument, and then erect it? It weighs 345 tons = 690,000 pounds! The image of the obelisk in Luxor (right) is only 75’, but it reveals the scale compared with the tiny people.
As for precision, look at the exquisite detail of this sunken relief image of the Goddess Sekhmet from Kom Ombo Temple near Aswan, Egypt.
I explored Egypt for 15 days in March; my experiences in the temples and sacred sites provided a deep recognition of the brilliance and power of this culture; it also helped me understand the artworks I made about Egypt, not so long ago, before I visited…. In this life time.
Many of my artist creations make sense ‘rationally’ much after their creation… each piece is a creative process spurred by intuition; downloads of ideas and images. Ancient Egypt’s art and culture has held a special place in my heart during this lifetime. The architecture, sculptures, relief and paintings, both images and hieroglyphs, inspired a series of Encaustic ‘paintings’ a few years back. How I described them then, still rings true. “The Egyptian Series is inspired by the mysteries of ancient Egypt, a complex civilization that soared to heights unseen since. The socioeconomic structure revealed integration with the spiritual; these realms were interwoven with wisdom and honoring of the Earth and Heavens. Their technologies surpassed todays, as evidenced by the pyramids and other complex architecture. The feminine and masculine energies were more balanced as revealed through the imagery honoring both male and female in divine and mundane activities. The hieroglyphic writings expose the source energy connection to be from the stars, a belief that currently, we relegate to myth. Regardless, there exists wisdom relevant to contemporary life; Heart energy is central to how a person is judged for a successful life; the Earth and Heavens were considered sacred. The focus on recognizing divinity within every human, creature and place, nourishes respect of all life energies. This is the core of what I feel could resurrect humanity and the Earth to a new golden age.”

The central panel combines a large eye, (with a crescent moon as its’ base), and an ancient Egyptian image filled with symbols of the archetypal passage of life between lives: boat, stairway, gateway, and birds. On either side are the trays of a balancing scale, a green one holding a feather; the red, a heart. In ancient Egypt, upon the death of a person, the heart was weighed against that of a feather; if balanced, the person showed a high level of consciousness in this lifetime. The scale pans are within a square, looking like a contemporary ‘purse’, denoting the baggage we must transform during the current lifetime. The central symbolic eye provides protection, thus sanctuary during the delicate passageway for the soul between lifetimes. The side panels of birds, akin to the sacred Ibis of ancient Egypt, relates to the wise Ibis-headed god, Thoth, a deity of wisdom, writing, magic, the moon and judgment, taught many. Also present is: plant life, heart image, scarab, and spirals. The ‘Weighing the Hear’ ceremony is one that acknowledges and records our life’s evolution and inspires us to live a life founded on compassion, clarity and wisdom. Our inner work to build heart-wisdom for all of creation becomes our true sanctuary.
There exist 5 more art works from this Series on my website here. If you click on an individual image, you can see details (click on the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the main image), the size, description etc. If you love any of them, reach out; I’m happy to discuss anything at all to help give them a good home.
My experience in Egypt was nothing short of profound; I continue to process some of the experiences, several types of ‘awakenings’, from realizing a past lifetime as a temple priestess of Sekhmet (above), to insights between the Sphinx’s paws.
I also enjoyed an amazing sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride, overlooking the contrast of green agricultural land adjacent to the Nile, with tan desert beyond.
Who knows what will open and evolve within and without for my life. The biggest shift was to dive deeper into my heart’s desire to serve the greater good, with whatever gifts that continue to emerge. Part of this is to speak the Truth, which is ‘Egypt had knowledge and technologies far greater than ours now’. Perhaps they knew acoustic levitation, and had more sophisticated instruments and tools than we do now. But how, and who, where from? I’m leaning into the possibility that cheerleaders from the galactic realms… Aliens, ET’s, had a hand in it. It’s a much bigger topic that deserves consideration; if nothing else, try to envision time as a spiral, not linear. That is a wonderful start to taking out of our anthropocentric belief system, and the possibilities of finding ways to solve current problems with solutions hiding in plain site.
What resonates with you? What have you considered with respect to galactic influences on earth? I’m really curious to know!
