I continue my exploration engaging past and futuristic forms of visual language ~ conduits for truthful communication, which include mark making in the forms of glyphs, sigils and undulating lines, within an environment of recognizable forms, both living and archetypal. I’m honing in to understand this language of resonance myself. I offer you the last of the recent grouping of 4 – the other 3 were highlighted in the last blogpost ‘Water Code Serenades’. Selkies of the Norse, Irish and Scottish, can transform between seal and human form by shedding their seal skins. This power embodies duality, transformation, occupying the liminal space between worlds—the sea and the land, the wild and the domesticated. As female guardians of Fisherman, they guide those who protect marine life. In Inuit culture, seals are symbols of innocence, survival, and spiritual guidance, with the sea goddess Sedna linked to betrayal and abandonment of the feminine. Sedna, a trans-Neptunian dwarf planet, moved from Taurus into Gemini in 2024, where she’ll remain until 2067; Gemini is a sign of communication. Her presence will provide opportunities to heal abandonment wounds, the neglected feminine within men and women, ancestral trauma and shift how we communicate in relationships, especially allowing for the deep feminine to emerge. New stories, wisdom and values can emerge. This is so needed, for women, men, and Living Gaia herself. It will open desire and ideas of how to heal and protect natural waters, that which nourish life itself.
The seal is within a bright, flowing field, surrounded by darker waters; she is in a circle – that which contains. But here, it’s an open circle, which both contains and allows for movement of free-flowing energy. The seal looks up and out of its light-filled tunnel, speaking to the heart of the matter. A loose flowing DNA (open) circle holds glyphs; a coded sound-light language affirming a commitment to Serenading the Heart. Our beautiful Gaia, and her waters are in much need of love. What we love, we nourish and protect. Let us sing songs of love to her waters, and all life within her environs. Intelligent creatures, like seals, whales, otters, and even eels, continue to exemplify harmony within their realm; let we humans follow suit.
Remembering Truthful Communication
Before writing, truth flowed through presence. It resided in breath, gesture, rhythm, and the shared space between beings and elements. Communication occurred through sensory harmony with land, water, and each other.
Writing preserved memory, yet also fractured it. Separated from the body and the living field, language became abstract, portable, and eventually manipulable. Meaning could survive without resonance; words could exist without truth.
Glyphs and sigils belong to a different lineage. They do not argue or explain—they entrain. Bypassing linear thought, they speak directly to the nervous system, bodily waters, and the intuitive field, where understanding precedes belief. Like sound. A true glyph cannot lie; it either resonates, or it does not.
As humanity approaches a new threshold of consciousness, we are invited into a third mode of communication— neither purely telepathic nor bound to written language, but rooted in coherence, presence, and embodied knowing.
In this emerging language, truth is not proven. It is remembered. Glyphs, images, tones, and living symbols become bridges— not carriers of doctrine, but invitations into shared frequency. They return communication to relationship, where deceit collapses and resonance guides understanding.
This is not a return to the past. It is a remembering of what has always been intact beneath words— and a preparation for a future where communication once again serves life.
