July /00 – May 2001            Wetland Interpretive Committee: Cheyenne, WY

This interdisciplinary committee oversaw the development of a wetland on the grounds of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. As an educational forum, my duties were to guide the artistic interpretation of the site. One aspect involved helping 6th graders develop interpretive postcards & bronze plaques for the wetland.

 

March, 2001.                        BATtallion Bat House; students from the Fall 2000 ‘Art & Ecology’ class, in

Cooperation with city hall and Mosquito Control, erected a large sculptural

bat house. It is a public art project intended to aid mosquito control.
